Surprises

Surprisingly unstressed about...

...J leaving for a month to climb Denali.
...J leaving the packing for his month-long trip until THIS MORNING!
...the 45 minutes we have left before we leave for the airport and most things are unpacked.
...the kids selling juice to the neighborhood and passing compassionate strangers that tastes like water with a tiny bit of flavoring.
...managing on my own for the next 4+ weeks.
...the mess J is leaving behind that I get to clean up.

Surprisingly stressed about...
...getting to the airport on time.
...the traffic we might encounter because of the REAL Salt Lake Soccer game.
...getting all my runs in for the next month, even though I have the best friends ever and they have all volunteered to help me out.
...Runner #9.
...Unwelcome visitors showing up while hubby is out of town.

Not looking forward to...
...not being able to run at 6AM
...making my kids sit through Ward Choir practice before church plus the following 3 hours of church for the next few Sundays.
...not talking to my love every night before I fall asleep.
...missing my mold-able, warm, sexy body pillow -- even if he snores sometimes.

Looking forward to...
...catching up on this blog.
...P90X yoga in the mornings.
...getting my garden in.
...hearing from J occasionally.
...pictures and stories from this epic adventure!!

It will be an adventure for our whole family!
